Meet Brook Doner! She worked closely with Jamie and Steph before they even started Elite in 2013 and has always been a big supporter of our company! She graduated the COTA program from Casper College in 2009. She has 16 years of experience working in Skilled Nursing and in Developmental Disabilities populations. Her main focus has always been working with children and adults with disabilities in one on one and group settings to enhance and encourage their individual wants and needs. She believes in the importance advocating and inclusion for all of her clients to ensure that they are living a life that makes them happy, independent, and accepted in all settings that are important to them. She enjoys working closely with her client’s entire team for the most successful outcomes. She somehow connects with our very difficult clients in a way others struggle with and that is just one skill she has in her OT bag! When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and 3 yorkie pups! We are very fortunate to have such a loyal friend and employee to have joined us on this journey!

Kaitlynn joined us in the fall of 2023 at a time when we desperately needed her! Prior to working for us, she had gained experience in skilled nursing facilities, home health, and outpatient rehabilitation with a strong knowledge base on many diagnoses. She also spends her down time marketing, calling doctors about our clients and advocating for their best healthcare!

She loves working with the adult and geriatric population, with patients recovering from acute injuries, orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders and low vision. Kaitlynn recently became certified in dry needling and looks forward to aquiring more knowledge as a clinician and continuing to provide quality care to her patients!

She enjoys spending time with husband and daughter, working out, being outside, and watching football!

In light of Autism awareness month we would like to introduce our new BCBA,
Amy Omsberg! She has been with us for about a month but has already helped us make so many positive changes and we have seen a major decline in behaviors as a result! We have been looking for behavior training for years but never found anything that fit our business model of approaching children with dignity, respect, playfulness and purpose! We had an amazing training after hours at Elite McKinley tonight that will continue on a case by case basis to help each of our staff learn the best way to support our kids and help them grow! We strive to take a therapeutic approach to ensure our clients reach their goals while feeling in control of their choices and building positive relationships with their staff! Welcome to the team Amy! We are so lucky to have you!

Alona is one of our creative pediatric therapists! She works hard at making each and every one of her treatment sessions goal and client oriented. She is compassionate and not afraid to get the kids excited about OT! She is fairly new to the field but has made a huge impact at our pediatric facility! Thank you for your dedication to our kids and always trying to make the best of the kids occupation which is play!

Not only is April OT month, it is also Autism awareness month! As OTs we strive to help children with Autism and other disabilities learn the skills they need to achieve their goals and be their very best! We also couldn’t do it without the our other supporting services including our amazing team of Support Staff, Speech Therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). We take a collaborative personalized approach to their therapies and love each and every one of our clients with Autism!

Today we want to kick off OT month and recognize and celebrate Mysty Deveraux! She has worked for us for 10 years today but has been working as a COTA in the OT profession for over 14 years! She is our rehab manager and still is able to find time to treat clients and do her documentation! We are so grateful for the many years she has dedicated to our business and hope to have her on our team for many more!

We are HIRING! Elite Therapy is looking for 2-3 part-time support staff to work with our AMAZING kids during our after school program. Hours would be from approximately 3pm- 6pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility and additional hours available during school breaks and summer. Experience working with special needs and disabilities preferred but not required. This is an entry level position (with higher than average starting pay). Must be 18 to apply.
