Ticks live in grassy, brushy, and wooded areas, even in your own yard. Whether you’re walking the dog, gardening, or camping, you could be exposed.

✅ Treat clothes & gear with 0.5% permethrin
✅ Use EPA-registered insect repellents (DEET, picaridin, OLE, etc.)
✅ Stay on clear trails, avoid tall grass & leaf litter
✅ Check for ticks after being outdoors and remove them ASAP

If you notice a tick bite followed by fever or rash, contact your doctor.
