Was going to do a side by side of before and after vacation, but I waited to long, and my picture (I was going to compare it to) was a few months old so I didn’t realize how much progress was there even though I couldn’t see it, and the scale for like 6 months hasn’t moved so it’s hard to track progress unless it’s physical.
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT…….
LETS TALK INFLAMMATION! It doesn’t look like it but after vacation I had 12Lbs of INFLAMMATORY weight. I usually sit around 150 and when I got back I was at 162lbs. Our bodies fluctuate weight based on what we are putting in our bodies, and man did I feel FLUFFY. Muffins, jelly beans, bread… all the things.
I typically will get my carbs from eating things like fruits and veggies compared to grains, because grains will make me bloat and to me are extremely inflammatory. The simple fact is most grains in America are bleached, full on enriched ingredients, processed beyond belief, and just flat out not a good source of energy (in my eyes there is better ways). Eating store bought grains was never worth it for me. It was easier to cut them out then to keep them in my diet because how they made me feel. No I do not have a gluten issue… nor am I gluten intolerant.
If your not burning off carbs your body turns those like sugar… and I means breads, rices and oats. Which in return causes inflammation, and inflammation turns into things like pain, sickness, and other issues overtime if you eat to many. I also noticed a HUGE difference with my brain fog. I can now tell when I get home from a trip not because I feel fluffy because my brain feels sloggy and slow.
This doesn’t work for everyone but if you haven’t tried taking our bread, grains, and oats you might be shocked at how you feel. Your automatically going to lose 10-15lbs of inflammation your body holds on to. And I know people are like well… “I like my pasta” “bread is my favorite”, well that’s fine… look for products that are all organic and have 0 enriched products, and eat sourdough. There are ways to still enjoy food.
Just know even though you can’t see it, your extra weight is just inflammation, we all have it. And we all fluctuate. Don’t let that # on the scale fool you or make you feel any type of way. 🙌🏻💪🏻 it’s a tricky number and don’t focus on that… focus on how you feel and what makes you feel good.
Being conscious on what is making you feel good and what doesn’t should be a priority. I think people are scared to try or because they’ll miss certain foods but in reality the way you feel is so much more important at the end of the day and the only thing you’ll start to focus on once tou change your relationship with food. You need to change how you look at it from something that is pleasurable to something that is going to make you strong, fuel your energy, kick your health issues. It’ll change once you view your actual food as a way to heal yourself. Mentally, spirituality and physically. 🥰
Love you beans! You all got this and I hope this helps someone. 👏🏻💪🏻
