December 9
Feeling behind? Remember: comparison steals joy and feeds shame. Recovery isn’t a race—it’s a personal journey of rebuilding and rediscovering yourself. The pace doesn’t matter—what matters is that you’re still moving forward, still trying, still learning. 🧱

Every brick you lay, no matter how small, strengthens the foundation of your new life. Some days you move quickly. Some days you barely inch along. Both count. Healing takes time, patience, and compassion for yourself. Stay steady. Stay present. And remind yourself that your progress today—no matter how imperfect—is still progress. You’re building something real.

The holidays are a good reminder that recovery is about progress, not perfection. This season can be beautiful, but it can also bring stress, emotion, or unexpected triggers. Recovery doesn’t take a holiday — and you don’t have to face any of it on your own.

Wyoming Recovery was honored to be part of such a wonderful community event today!
🎄☕ Casper College Foundation & Alumni Association Holiday High Tea ☕🎄

This afternoon, we had the privilege of joining the Casper community for the Annual High Tea, held in the beautiful Chapman Lobby of the Walter H. Nolte Gateway Center. The event brought people together in the spirit of generosity, connection, and holiday warmth — all in support of a cause close to our hearts.

All proceeds from today’s High Tea go directly to the Casper College Food Pantry, helping students who are experiencing food insecurity. We are grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another, especially during the holiday season.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make this event so special. Wyoming Recovery is proud to stand with partners who uplift and strengthen the well-being of our community. ❤️

December 8
Not all progress looks dramatic. Sometimes the biggest victories are the quiet ones—walking away instead of engaging, choosing rest instead of spiraling, or deciding not to use when stress shows up. Every time you choose a healthier response, you’re rewiring your life. 🌱

The holidays can be beautiful, but they can also be stressful, emotional, or triggering. Recovery doesn’t pause this time of year — and we want you to know that you never have to navigate it alone.

December 5
Grief can feel heavier during the holidays—especially if you’re missing someone or grieving a version of yourself you’ve lost. It’s okay to feel sad, reflective, or tender today. Light a candle, share a memory, reach out to someone you trust. Healing and grief can exist side by side. 🕯️

If you need someone to talk to, guidance, or immediate support, please call us anytime, day or night:

Mission Statement

Our goal is to provide addiction treatment of high quality and moderate price, across the spectrum of severity of illness and levels of care; and given Wyoming’s sparse population, to creatively adapt our services to meet the diverse needs of its communities. Our setting is a comfortable and warm environment fostering recovery and a quality of life for our patients. Wyoming Recovery is not a lock-down facility. We offer an open setting and encourage communication and involvement in community activities and recovery programs.

Wyoming Recovery has been treating patients with addiction illnesses since 1996. By adapting recovery principles to an individual’s learning style, health status, employee/employer relationship and home life, our treatment offers a one-of-a-kind philosophy, resulting in successful outcomes and affordable costs.

Our central location in Casper allows Wyoming Recovery to offer addiction treatment to patients from all over the United States. As a freestanding treatment center, we provide affordable and tailored treatments based on our unique philosophy and recognized best practices. We offer support in all phases toward your sobriety. The staff at Wyoming Recovery is made up of committed professionals whose mission is to guide you toward and through certain steps to recovery from your addiction(s).
