I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with 23 years of experience in the medical field (11 years as a registered nurse & 12 years as a nurse practitioner). The past 5 years I have specialized in the field of OB/GYN under the training of the revered Dr. Sam Vigneri. I am trained in assisting in all gynecology surgeries, from minor laparotomies and c-sections to robotic hysterectomies with the da Vinci robot. I also am trained through Biote to insert bio-identical hormone pellets to help people achieve optimal hormone levels. I have attained Biote's Legacy status due to the volume of safe quality of care I provide. I also provide traditional forms of hormone therapy and I can provide all gynecology needs, including pap smears, well women exams, birth control, IUD's, Nexplanons and can work up gynecological problems. I work closely with local OB-GYN's for any needs beyond my scope of practice and prepare patients for surgical referral. I may be offering surgical assistance in the near future to some of the local OB-GYN's if needed.

Our clinic will not provide any obstetric care, however we will be happy to provide prenatal and postpartum care, if needed.

I am board certified through the AANP: American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Darla brings over 10 years of office administrative experience. She’s known for her strong multitasking skills, calm and friendly demeanor, and her ability to adapt seamlessly to new environments. She’s excited to bring her talents into the world of healthcare and support our patients with the care and attention they deserve.

You’ll find Darla at the front desk alongside Addy — ready to assist with scheduling, answer your questions, and ensure every visit to Women’s Wellness is smooth, welcoming, and comfortable.

Outside the office, Darla enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, traveling and cheering on her son while he races motocross and relaxing at home with her beloved cats and dachshunds. 🐾

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday-Sunday: Closed

With continued team efforts to perfect our processes and streamline our operations, we're planning to expand availability to include Fridays in the near future.

As one of Casper's only Board-Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioners, Monica Gonzales is scheduling patients now and booking up quickly!
We are also excited to announce that Heather Dobrenz, RN will be working alongside Monica. Many of you know Heather from our beloved Dr. Vigneri. Heather worked alongside Dr. Vigneri for 10 years as his nurse and is now excited to be joining Women’s Wellness of Wyoming, working as Monica's nurse.

SERVICES PROVIDED:
-women’s health care and gynecology needs
-pap smears/well-woman exams
-IUD placement and removal
-Nexplanon insertion and removal
-hormone replacement therapy for both men and women
-birth control
-functional medicine
-any other gynecological needs, issues, or work-ups and referrals; She works closely with the OB/GYNs in our community and will consult with them or refer patients to them if a patient’s needs are beyond her scope of practice or expertise.

Monica received a Master of Science in Nursing, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University. Monica’s education is specialized in gynecology, obstetrics, hormones, and women’s overall health and wellness.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Monica’s entire 9-year nursing career was spent as a labor and delivery nurse. She has always had a passion for health and wellness, and before becoming a nurse, Monica worked in the health and fitness industry for 10 years. Her career as a labor and delivery nurse is where her passion for women’s health developed.
In addition to her education as a women’s health nurse practitioner, Monica has also obtained functional medicine education. She stated, “I love that functional medicine allows me to combine my passion for health and wellness with my love of healthcare”.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome back to our work family, Heather Dobrenz, RN!
Heather started her nursing journey working as a registered nurse on the Surgical floor at Wyoming Medical Center in 2004 after graduating from Casper College. After a year when she decided that working in a clinical setting was a better choice for her she was privileged enough to transition into a position at Casper Orthopedics. Heather worked here for 9 years. At Casper Orthopedics she learned a great deal about being a nurse and how to treat her patients with compassion and understanding.
In 2014 she was fortunate enough to start working with Dr. Samuel Vigneri at Women’s Health Associates. Here she discovered her love of women’s health and obstetric care. Heather stated, “When I started working with Dr. Vigneri I did not know a thing about the OB-GYN side of nursing and I was lucky enough to learn from one of the best. I worked with him for 10 years and there was never a day that I did not look forward to going to work. I truly looked forward to my weekly visits with my OB patients and I loved being able to see the tiny little baby when they would come for their postpartum visit. The best part about my job was that once all of my OB patients were done having children they would stay on to see us for their annual care and we all developed a close relationship with all of them.”
Heather moved to Casper in 2000. She is married and has two children and a daughter-in law. With a desire for continual learning and a drive for self-improvement, Heather will graduate with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) this coming September from Grand Canyon University.
She loves spending her free time at the lake with her friends and family.
Heather said, “I look forward to being able to see my old patients again at my new office. I invite all of our past OB patients to come and see the old staff and let us take care of your GYN needs. We can hardly wait to see all of you again!”
