Last night, Troop 1397 had a fantastic time visiting Park Place to sell delicious Girl Scout cookies! The residents loved seeing the girls smiling faces and were overjoyed at the opportunity to buy some of their favorite cookies.

Join us in celebrating Barb D, a longtime resident and this month’s Park Place Featured Resident! Barb is also our lucky Pot o’ Gold winner—what a wonderful way to kick off her recognition!

Barb is such a special part of our community. She’s always lending a helping hand, especially when it comes to bingo—gathering residents to join in the fun and staying afterward to help with clean-up. 💚 Her kindness and willingness to pitch in never go unnoticed!

She’s also a familiar face at all of our art activities 🎨 and takes great pride in showing off her creative projects. Her enthusiasm and joy inspire everyone around her!

We had a wonderful visit at Park Place last Wednesday! 🎶

The Luther Classical Academy Choir blessed our residents with their beautiful voices, filling the room with timeless hymns that brought comfort, joy, and plenty of smiles. Their talent and heart for sharing music created such a meaningful and uplifting experience for everyone.

Moments like these remind us how powerful music can be in bringing people together and lifting spirits. We are so grateful to the choir for taking the time to share their gifts with us—it truly made our day special!

Yesterday we were treated to something truly special at Park Place 💛

Mary Mohler graciously shared her stunning collection of beautifully decorated eggs with our residents. Each egg was uniquely designed, showcasing incredible detail, creativity, and care—it was clear how much love goes into her collection.

The residents absolutely enjoyed hearing the stories behind the pieces and admiring the artistry up close. Moments like these bring so much joy, spark wonderful conversations, and create lasting memories.

Thursday afternoon was one of those moments that truly fills your heart. The little fellas from the Apogee 307 Homeschool group stopped by with handmade greeting cards for our residents—no special occasion, just a simple “have a great day.”

What they may not realize is how much those small acts of kindness mean. The smiles, the laughter, and especially the hugs… absolutely priceless. 💛

It’s amazing how something so simple can brighten someone’s entire day. We’re so grateful for these thoughtful kids and the joy they brought with them!
