This verse was written to a people in exile.

A people who had lost their home, their city, their everything.

And into that darkness, God spoke.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11

Thousands of years later — Jerusalem still stands. Israel is still here. And this promise is still true.

Whatever you are facing today — exile, loss, uncertainty, fear — this verse is still being spoken over you.
