Per Tribal Council direction, Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Government offices will be closed on Friday, January 30, 2026, in recognition of ongoing community events and civic actions taking place in Minneapolis and across the country.

Regular business hours will resume on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

Become a Child Passenger Safety Technician in 2026!

Safe Kids is offering Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) Certification Training for professionals and community members who work with children and families.
This hands-on training will prepare you to:
✔ Identify and correct car seat misuse
✔ Educate caregivers on child passenger safety
✔ Serve as a community resource at car seat checkups
✔ Earn national certification

📍 Training Dates & Locations:
• March 2–5 – East Grand Forks, MN
• May 4–6 – Bemidji, MN
• June 16, 17 & 24 – Roseau, MN

Ideal for law enforcement, nurses, social workers, EMTs, child care providers, school transportation staff, safety advocates, and more.
