I’ve always said that we’ll either INVEST in our health now or PAY for our sickness later. What’s your health worth? ☺️ It’s not 100% guaranteed... but, we can change our quality of life by what we put into it!

Many have aversions to eating greens. Here’s a simple solution to add to your daily greens with little to no hassle!! If you like apple/cinnamon, use almond or coconut milk, then add the Q-Ultra greens. You can also take it up a notch and add coffee too, especially if you like your Cup-o-Joe in the morning!!

RECIPE—
12oz fresh brewed coffee iced or chilled
2-3 Tbsp. vanilla creamer
6-8 oz coconut or almond milk
1 package of Q-Ultra Greens

Blend in shaker cup.
Chill in fridge or add ice.
Shake again before drinking.
Best part? This is super healthy, boosts energy and nutrition, detoxifies system and digestion, and alkalizes body PH for better health. Plus it's way less than going to Starbucks (less than $2 a drink)! It’s just that good!! 😋

Always know what you’re eating!

I used to eat Chick-fil-A several times a week for lunch. It's been well over 15 years since I’ve sunk my teeth into those waffle fries...but wow, I remember how good they can be!

I don't eat them anymore because they are cooked in oil treated with the defoaming ingredient “Dimethylpolysiloxane”, which is the main ingredient in SILLY PUTTY 🤢

It was also commonly used in silicone breast implants, before these were phased out.

There have been no major studies conducted on the safety of this chemical in food since it was approved by the FDA in 1998.

Now, I wouldn’t consider eating at Chick-fil-A because of all the shady ingredients they use. But I’m not depriving myself! I firmly believe that if you love to eat something, you can figure out how to make it at home with healthy ingredients. That way you can have your cake (or waffle fries!) and eat it too!

I would definitely make some variations to this: non-GMO corn or replace altogether with other veggies like spinach or kale, GF/organic ranch packet, etc.! It is a great idea for those on the run!

I was going to post this later today when it was done... But my house smells SOOO amazing I can't stand it!!! 4 chicken breast, 1 packet Fiesta Ranch mix (by the salad dressing), 1 can black beans, 1 can Rotel, 1 can corn not drained, 1 block cream cheese. On high in the slow cooker (here's a great one ---> http://amzn.to/1H45fnl )for 4 hours or 6 on low. Eat over rice or with tortillas! Oh. My. Heavens!!!

Started the morning with a juice & added almond butter, chia seeds & leafy greens from my Tower Garden. Ended the day with a cauliflower crust pizza loaded with onions, broccoli, chicken sausage, peppers, spinach, and of course topped with mozzarella! Aaaah, feels so good fueling my body!

The most recent issue that EWG is sounding the alarm about is BPA – "a chemical ubiquitous in CANNED food. It has been linked to everything from cancers to reproductive problems, obesity, early puberty and heart disease".

Did you know that 90% of thyroid patients taking medication will fail to feel normal? Do you have thyroid issues: weight gain, joint injury with minimal activity, insomnia and/or fatigue, brain fog, irritable bowel symptoms, another auto-immune disease (M.S., rheumatoid arthritis, Graves, Lupus, and more!!)??

1). If you have autoimmune driven hypothyroidism, you still have to address the autoimmune component or your immune system will continue to attack your thyroid unabated resulting in unnecessary destruction of tissue. You have to learn what in your environment may be driving the autoimmunity and what can you do to protect your blood stream from the inappropriate passage of offending proteins. It is very rare for people to have one autoimmune condition. I happen to have 3 known autoimmune conditions. The longer you wait the greater the likelihood you will develop more autoimmune conditions.
2). The symptoms of unabated autoimmune reactions can cause all of the symptoms associated with hypothyroidism, without hypothyroidism. Meaning your blood work is normal.
3). If your blood tests are made normal by medication like synthroid or thyroxine you may continue to have hypothyroid symptoms because underlying metabolic processes are not being addressed.
4). Men have thyroid conditions and symptoms too.

If you haven't started making your own milk, I have to say that you are missing out! ;). Not only is the flavor amazing, but it's not as time consuming as I had thought it would be. Soak 2 cups nuts of choice (almond—my fave, cashews, h**p, etc.) overnight. Rinse & put into high-powered blender w/ 4 cups purified water. Add vanilla bean or 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract, 3-4 pitted dates; blend for about 4 minutes until it becomes milky white-ish. Strain into a cheese cloth, jelly bag, sieve, etc. to extract the milk without the pulp. Pour into mason jars or glass pitcher and enjoy!

I made this toothpaste and our family has been using it for almost one week. I'll check back to give an update once we've used up the batch. So far, I have to say that our teeth feel super clean like after you leave the dentist's office.
