We believe in the power of laughter...come practice yoga, breath and laughter with us. We are a community of yogis committed to supporting and thriving together! We are grateful to our community for keeping us alive during COVID and continuing to share your yoga journey with us! We offer a community space that supports in studio and live streaming classes for all our classes. Our teachers are highly qualified.

Join Sara for our next Parents and Kids yoga class on December 11 from 4:30-5:30pm in Shine!

Come wild, calm, joyful or with big feelings - just be yourself!

Hosted by our very own Sara Knetemann, mom of two toddlers, teacher, sports coach & former middle school athletics director with over 15 years working with children (MA in teaching).

This is sure to guide our parents and littles to connection on a deeper level, or maybe you'll just have a ton of fun!

$25, price includes one adult and one child entry. Additional child $5. Maximum children per adult is 2. Ages 2-8 only please. Parents must accompany their children. No toys or cellphones allowed in our space.

Did you see our holiday cheer has started? It’s our favorite time of year where we get to partner with other small businesses around town to bring some holiday cheer and Christmas spirit. We launched our first one this last Monday was wild and Bloom and this year we have a special surprise. If you engage with all four weeks, there’s a special drawing on Christmas Day for some thing from our friends at Lululemon. Our Story

Buka is Sanskrit for Hummingbird. This particular Sanskrit word also means Laughter. Hummingbirds hold a level of awe and wonder for me. They flit and fly through life in such a graceful way, all the while not knowing how beautiful their feathers are. I believe laughter heals all wounds and in some small way, I believe hummingbirds laugh their way through life. From one flower to another. So it seemed fitting, that this beautiful practice of yoga should honor both things in one. Welcome, to Buka Yoga. You probably hear a lot of people say...Yoga saved my life. And maybe you thought what a silly thing to say. I can honestly say, Yoga saved my life. I found Yoga at a place I would call rock bottom in my career and life. Not really knowing what to do, I went on a retreat with a friend...and my life was changed. I had no idea the power of feeling my body in poses, of going inward and listening to my breath how calming my mind would start to become. 2 years later, I decided to enter into my 200 RYT hours program through One Yoga and graduated July 18, 2017. This is now a lifelong journey of learning, connecting and inner growth that I love sharing with others and learning from them. I am now the proud owner of Buka Yoga in downtown Castle Rock, CO. Come join myself and the lovely teachers we have for a transformational yoga experience.
