For over 75 years, the Brubaker Funeral Home has provided the Catasauqua, Whitehall, Coplay, Northampton and Hanover Township communities with outstanding funeral service. Originally, the Catasauqua property was known as the private residence of Leonard Peckitt, president of the former Crane Iron Works of Catasauqua. Burkholder purchased the property and made it a funeral home. Burkholder owned and operated the facility. Brubaker purchased the funeral home in 1978 and further developed its reputation for exceptional, customized service. The Brubaker Funeral Home now helps families to personalize traditional funeral services with multi-media, photographs, and musical selections as well as cremation, pre-arrangement and memorial services. Over the years, the Brubaker Funeral Home has maintained its original Victorian interior, displaying paintings and furniture from when the home was originally built, circa 1865. In 2008 the business was incorporated under the name Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. Andrew Brubaker as owner and Supervisor and John H. Brubaker as a full time funeral director. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., in January of 2017, purchased the Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, Inc. in Coplay, PA.
