We know it takes a special kind of patience and heart to work with kids… and that’s exactly why we’re so excited to welcome Andrea to the Desert Insight team 💛

Andrea brings experience working with both children and adults across different settings, and she connects with clients in English, Spanish, and Spanglish!

And as a human (not just a therapist 😌), she loves walking her two dogs, hiking, and spending time with family.

This week we had the honor of being part of Career Day at Toro Canyon Middle School with Christa and Miriam, and at Julius Corsini Elementary with Cristal.

Oh we are so excited to introduce Cindy! 💛

At Desert Insight we believe that we cannot be client-centered without being staff-centered. If we want to truly care for our clients, we have to take care of our people first.

As we continue to grow, we are looking at where we can strengthen our systems and better care for our team. That is why Cindy is stepping into a staff support role to help fill in key areas and offer extra care where needed.

Today Desiree is bringing awareness to a conversation that can feel scary and confusing: psychotic symptoms like hearing or seeing things others don’t. Sometimes they can also show up as people feeling like they are being watched or chased, or even feeling disconnected from reality.

If you’ve ever loved someone through that, you know how overwhelming it can feel. And if you’ve experienced it yourself, you know how isolating it can be.

Whether you’re a family member, a friend, or a professional walking alongside someone in this space, awareness and compassion matter. Help us share this message on behalf of those who many times live misunderstood 💛
