The practice was started in 1985 by Samuel H. Esterson and rapidly grew to a team of 14 professional and support staff. The practice is totally dedicated to providing patients, referring physicians, case managers, and payors with high quality, timely, and cost-effective physical therapy services. The professional staff of Esterson & Associates brings more than 50 years of combined physical therapy excellence and expertise to their patients. Our experience, combined with a team approach to care, allows each patient to obtain his or her maximum level of function. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and attention and vow to exceed patient expectations. Physicians rely on our dedication, commitment, and high levels of satisfaction for each patient they refer. State-of-the-art equipment, staff continuing education, outstanding communication, and the use of the most advanced treatment techniques, are all important aspects of Esterson & Associates Physical Therapy's commitment to their patients and referring professionals. Each staff member is sensitive to the specific needs and concerns of each patient. Our facility maintains Star-Trac® and Biodex® brand cardio equipment, recumbent bicycle, cable column, treadmill, trampoline, upper body ergometer, bounce back, free weights, and a Cybex NORM isokinetic computerized testing and exercise device. All our modality equipment is manufactured in the USA by the Chattanooga and Dynatronics Corporations.

Please join us at Esterson & Associates in a warm welcome to the newest addition to our Physical Therapy family, Christy Baronas!

Christy received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware in 2000 and went on to obtain her Masters in Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 2003.

Christy has been practicing Physical Therapy for nearly 20 years. She’s experienced in treating various orthopedic conditions and post-operative rehabilitation. An athlete herself, she has a keen interest in instructing athletes in injury prevention and facilitating a return to sports. She enjoys interacting with a variety of patients, and uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and patient instruction to promote healthy, safe, and independent patient function.

When not carpooling or watching her five children play sports, she enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends.

Patapsco Trail Fest 2022!!! Patapsco Trail Fest is a celebration of all that the Patapsco Valley trail system has to offer. It is weekend of fun that includes events for all ages, abilities, and user groups. The weekend includes two nights of camping, hikes, mountain bike rides, trail running, and a disc golf tournament.

This year, Esterson and Associates will be taking part in the Family Fun Run on Sunday, October 17th. This event will take place around 12 PM, following the 10K and 5K trail runs. The Family Fun Run will be less than a mile and will be located in the Pickall Area of Patapsco State Park. Signup for the fun run will be day of.
