“For over 25 years, I’ve been rooted in the practice and teaching of yoga—a path that eventually led me to open my own yoga school to help guide and launch the next generation of teachers. I believe our world needs more people attuned to nature, aligned with their own inner rhythms, and anchored in mindful living.
When the pandemic shifted us away from in-person gatherings, I used that time to formalize years of Ayurvedic study and became an Ayurvedic Practitioner through the YogaVeda Institute. Today, I share this integrated wisdom through two YouTube channels dedicated to yoga, Ayurveda, and everyday wellness through plant-based food.
At the heart of my work is a simple truth: true health begins with the small habits we practice daily and the joy with which we choose to live our lives.
Beginning January 17th, I’m opening A Cup of Ayurveda—a monthly gathering designed to help people integrate “small sips” of this ancient wisdom into their everyday lives. Each session aligns us with Mother Nature’s rhythms and the circadian cycles that shape our well-being, offering a gentle meditation, warming teas, nourishing bites, and simple, actionable tips to bring balance into the month ahead. My hope is to create a welcoming, safe space for anyone and everyone—a community that reconnects with nature, with themselves, and with the joy of living well, one sip at a time.”
Join Milan on Saturday, January 17th to learn how to ‘Navigate the Vata Season.’ Participants can expect an inviting space to learn and develop practical, easy-to-implement Ayurvedic wisdom into their everyday life for immediate well-being. Partake in tea and refreshments while Milan provides an introduction to Ayurveda, its connection to yoga, and the Doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) as energy blueprints. Learn how the qualities of Vata (cold, dry, light) manifest as anxiety, dry skin, or scattered thoughts and explore how diet, daily routine, and easy home remedies to counter Vata’s cold, dry, and mobile nature with warm, moist, and stable practices for improved digestion, calm, and restful sleep. Milan will provide take-home recipes and easy to implement home remedies!
