Bring your favorite stuffed friend and join us for our FREE Teddy Bear ER on April 13 from 4:00–6:00 PM!

Kids can bring their teddy bears or stuffed animals for:
🩺 Teddy bear check-ups
🩹 Minor “surgical procedures”
🍿 A fun popcorn bar
🤗 Plenty of healing hugs for our furry friends
This is a great way for kids to learn about healthcare in a fun, friendly, and hands-on environment. We can’t wait to see you and your cuddly companions there! 💙

💚PCMHA joined in the fun by hosting a Green Shirt Day (TODAY) raising awareness for organ and tissue donation. We have had staff whose family members have been saved by the gift of organ donation. A few fun facts:
*more than 100,000 people are waiting on the national transplant waiting list
*another person is added to the transplant waiting list every 9 minutes
*85% of patients are waiting for a kidney, the average wait list is 3 to 5 years
*more than 2.5 million lifesaving and healing tissue transplants are performed each year
*a single tissue donor can help more than 75 people
*more than 85,600 corneal transplants help restore sight each year
