Light a candle, sit in stillness, and take three slow breaths. Place your hand on your heart and simply say, “I return to love. I return to peace.” Let those words sink in.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how darkness spreads when we get stuck in blame, fear, and violence. It feels like the world has been pulled to extremes and it breaks my heart to see it. But I believe there is a way through. I’ve seen it. I’ve felt it. And it always leads back to love.

This reminds me of a story I once heard. After the 9/11 attacks, Rais Bhuiyan was shot by a man who saw him as “other” because of his background. He lost his vision in one eye, his face was changed forever. He had every reason to be angry. Every reason to want revenge.

But Rais chose something different - he forgave. He even asked that the man who shot him not receive a death sentence. He didn’t erase the pain or deny the wrong, but he chose mercy. He chose love. And in that act of forgiveness, something shifted. Not perfectly. Not instantly. But enough to show the world that love is possible even in the darkest moments.

And that’s the truth we forget - violence is never the answer. Not against children. Not against adults. Not against politicians. Not against anyone. Disagreement and hurt should not cost someone their life. That’s how wars begin. And that’s how we lose our humanity.

If Jesus were here today, I believe He would point to stories like this. If Buddha were here, He would remind us that compassion doesn’t make us weak - it makes us strong enough to transform our pain.

When shootings and hatred feel overwhelming, we don’t have to meet them with more of the same. We can let them remind us who we truly are - not our fears, not our judgments, but beings capable of love. It starts small: a forgiveness, a kindness, a seed of hope, a refusal to pass on hate.

Let’s choose love. Let’s be the healing people. We are all in this together. One Earth. One Humanity. One LOVE.

Some days the FEAR is so loud - you forget that LOVE was ever an option.
You forget that PEACE is still possible.
You forget that there’s another way to see the situation in front of you.

But here’s something I’ve been sitting with:
What if the way we see is what really needs healing?

Not the people.
Not the problems.
Not even the pain.
But the lens we’re seeing it all through.

This week’s Full Moon is stirring a lot.
Old patterns. Old fears. That tight grip we keep around “how it should’ve been.”
But it’s also an invitation to shift.
To see with LOVE.
To choose again.

So if things feel cloudy or heavy, pause and ask:
What am I looking at through fear? And how would love see it differently?

This is the real work.
Not fixing. Not forcing.
But softening the way we see -
So we can come back to the truth: we are never separate from light.

You haven’t lost your way. You’re learning how to see again.

Sunday brings a powerful Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces. Eclipse energy clears away what no longer serves us and makes room for what’s meant to come in. This one is asking us to trust our intuition, lean into compassion, and release the weight we’ve been carrying.

Behind this moon, Uranus is turning retrograde in Gemini, asking us to revisit old patterns and sparking sudden insight. Pluto adds a karmic and fated twist, showing us what’s ready to transform. Mercury sits beside the Sun in Virgo, reminding us to ground our intuition with clarity, writing, and real action.

To connect with this eclipse, step outside under the moonlight or sit by a window where you can see the sky. Ground yourself by imagining roots growing deep from your feet into the Earth. Hold a candle in your hands as you take slow breaths, letting the moonlight pour into your body, filling your heart and spirit with peace. Speak your intention out loud, releasing what no longer serves you and opening to what feels aligned with your soul. When you feel complete, blow out the candle and watch the smoke rise, carrying your prayer up to the moon and into the universe.

This eclipse is about endings and beginnings. Trust the shifts, because they’re clearing space for opportunities aligned with your soul.

New Orleans during Decadence… the color, the joy, the energy. And yes - the protestors show up too.

But here’s what’s real: when you actually look at the life of Jesus, his message was never about exclusion.

Jesus didn’t just preach to the Jewish people - he reached the gentiles, the outsiders, the ones society rejected. He healed the Roman centurion’s servant, he spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well, and he reminded the religious leaders that his mission was for those who felt forgotten and unseen, not those who claimed to “already know.”

If we’re really following his example, faith isn’t meant to divide - it’s meant to love, heal, and bring people together. That’s the gospel. That’s the heart of his message.

Love is always louder than judgment. 🌈
