Microneedling - a treatment that feels like magic but is rooted in science 🧬

What it is - a skin procedure that utilizes the body’s own healing process to induce collagen and elastic production. Both are foundational to healthy, youthful skin!

How it’s done - I perform it with an FDA-approved device called SkinPen. Tiny medical-grade stainless steel needles are used to create controlled micro injuries in the skin. This triggers the body’s healing response (cue the magic 🪄)

A four+ month hiatus from social media.

But behind the scenes, so much has been growing 🌸

We’re growing our family. Baby #4 arriving in July! And we’ve been growing FiG in ways that matter to me. I’ve spent countless hours refining policies, procedures, and emergency protocols to ensure you are cared for in the safest way possible 🫶🏼 We’ve also redesigned our website and transitioned our operating system all with one goal: to make your experience better, smoother, and more thoughtful before you even walk through our doors.

The growth and changes at FiG as well as this pregnancy have been my why behind the hiatus. This pregnancy has been harder on me physically - maybe because I’m older but also maybe because I have three little humans that need me. But honestly it’s all been a welcome excuse as I find social media challenging and self serving most of the time. But I’ve realized that even if social media isn’t my favorite place, it is important. It’s often where you come to decide if FiG feels like the right fit for you. To see if the vibe, the aesthetic, and the approach align with what you’re looking for. It’s how you can start to connect with me personally. Trusting someone with your insecurities and treatments is a big step (& should be!). And I’d also be in denial if I didn’t think social media was necessary to grow my business 📈

So I’m choosing to see this space differently. And show up regularly.

This will be a place where you can get to know me personally and professionally. A place where I will try to be as authentic as possible and provide useful information. As well as give you a portfolio of what I do.

Botox in the crow’s feet & jelly roll 🐦‍⬛🦶🏻+ 🪼🥖

The treatment that gives “I got a great night’s sleep” even if you didn’t.

By relaxing the sphincter-like muscle around the eye, the eye area opens and brightens.

We show warmth in our smile by compressing the white of our eye, so I personally think treatments look better when some movement is preserved.

Let’s be real — pigment is a pain. 😬

It shows up uninvited as sun spots, melasma, or acne marks… and once it’s there, it loves to overstay its welcome.

& uneven skin tone, with dark spots and sun damage, can be more aging than wrinkles.

The FiG strategy:

A lip flip is a quick treatment done by injecting Botox into the muscle above the upper lip 👄

It works by relaxing the orbicularis oris muscle - a muscle that encircles the mouth - preventing the upper lip from curing under when smiling.

The result is a subtly enhanced upper lip and reduced amount of upper gum that is visible when smiling - aka a gummy smile. It doesn’t add volume like lip filler, just allows for more of your natural lip to show.

Common Q: Is a lip flip the same as lip filler? A: No. A lip flip provides a more subtle result and effects are only seen when you smile. It’s also more affordable and results last weeks to a couple months (versus filler that can last 12+ months).

Discomfort is minimal & I can numb your upper lip if that’s your preference.

A classic Botox before & after. Still you - just smoother and more refreshed.

“The look of 3” is achieved by treating the three most common areas - forehead, glabella (11 lines) & crow’s feet.

I start each appointment talking to clients about what their treatment goals are and then tailor the treatment to YOU!

Some clients want to be “frozen” (I put that in quotations because Botox relaxes muscles rather than freezing them) while others prefer softening with preservation of some movement. The dose and placement of injections can be tailored to meet your goals.

Just remember - dose equals duration so if you choose to go lighter on your dose the treatment might not last as long.

This is one of my best friends and treating her is so fun 👯‍♀️

I was looking back through photos recently and realized just how much my skin and appearance have improved since starting aesthetic treatments in March 2024. There is no filter on either picture.

In the first picture, I have static lines (lines that are present when not using the muscles/making an expression) and my makeup has settled into them. I also have signs of sun damage and my skin isn’t healthy - damaged skin barrier, dullness, poor texture. I also felt I needed to use more makeup to cover my skin up (honestly probably made things worse).

So what’s the difference between the first and second picture?

💉regular Botox injections to my upper face (recently added lower face/neck too)
🧴CONSISTENT twice-daily use of medical-grade skincare
☀️avoidance of sun exposure when possible
💎 chemical peels
💋 lip filler x 2 (1/2 syringe March 2024 & 1 syringe April 2025)

My skin is healthy now! It feels smooth, soft, and is better hydrated. I’m still working on some of the sun damage with additional chemical peels & plan to start microneedling for additional skin rejuvenation.

I feel more confident in my skin and am wearing less makeup 💄

I also still look like myself - just more youthful and refreshed! & that’s always my goal when treating clients.
