When Karly and the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services crew shows up in Red Lion for the day ❤️

Life has a funny way of placing the right people in your path at exactly the right time. Funeral service has brought some truly incredible people into my life, and I’m endlessly grateful for the support, friendship, and sense of family we’ve built along the way 💕

Losing a pet is never easy. For many families, it feels just as heartbreaking as losing a member of the family.

At the Taylor Pet Loss Center, we offer meaningful ways to honor that bond, from a variety of urns and keepsakes to unique options like Parting Stones, where cremated remains are gently transformed into solid stones you can hold onto.

These options are deeply personal and meant to bring comfort, and they are available for both pets and people.

Take a listen as we walk through what’s available.

Three funeral directors in a car… this sounds like the start of either a joke or a really great road trip. 😅🚗

Today we’re headed to Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services to see Katharine’s beautiful new funeral home space and spend time with my friends. 💕

One of my favorite parts of this profession? Connecting with the people who GET YOU, learning from each other and just supporting each other. Nothing better. ☺️

This morning, we had the honor of attending the Muse Veteran Memorial Dedication, followed by the Memorial Day Service at the Cecil American Legion.

Today, and every day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

One thing that always stands out to me is this community. People continue to show up. To stand together. To remember. To teach the next generation the true meaning of Memorial Day.

My dad played taps at 3 services and 5 cemeteries today, and hearing that tribute over and over never gets any less moving. It was a powerful reminder of the respect and gratitude our community continues to show those who served.

We are so grateful to live in a community that never forgets. ❤️🤍💙

Today’s ceremony at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies was an emotional reminder that Memorial Day is more than a long weekend.

For an hour, our community gathered to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. It was incredibly moving, and yes… tears were shed.

We are so grateful for our soldiers, their families, and the sacrifices made for this country. And we are especially thankful to have the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies right here in our backyard… a beautiful place where veterans can be honored, remembered, and laid to rest with the dignity they deserve.

Today, and every day, we remember. 🇺🇸

Can women be pallbearers?
Absolutely.
While tradition may have leaned one way, there’s no rule that says who can or can’t carry a loved one. Daughters, granddaughters, nieces, and close friends often take on this role.
Because it’s not about strength… it’s about love.
A funeral should reflect the life of the person being honored, and the people who meant the most to them should always have a place in that moment.
