One of the biggest misconceptions we hear with move-out cleans is:
“it’s empty, so it should be quick”
“it just needs a good dusting”
“it’s really not that bad” (Key for its bad 😜)

We completely understand why people think that…but in reality, move-out cleans are one of the most time-intensive services we offer.

When a home is empty, it actually exposes everything. Every cabinet, baseboard, door, trim, and all the buildup that’s been sitting there over time. Nothing is hidden behind furniture anymore, and our job is to go through it all, detail by detail, and fully reset the space for the next person.

This means significantly more time, more labor, and a lot more product than a standard lived in clean. We’re not just dusting… we’re scrubbing, detailing, and addressing years of buildup in areas most people don’t see day to day.

It’s a completely different level of cleaning and that’s why move-out cleans are priced and scheduled differently.

One thing I love about what we do: we get to know these buildings so well that when something breaks, leaks, or sounds off, we usually catch it first. And instead of just walking past it, we fix what we can. Clean spaces, cared-for buildings! That’s the Maid Perfectly standard 🫶🏼💪🏽
