The WRC will open at 8 AM tomorrow morning. There will be no morning lap swim. There will be open lap swim over the lunch hour.

UNI will delay the start of in-person classes until 10 a.m. on Friday, January 23.

Due to extreme winter weather conditions, the University of Northern Iowa campus will delay the start of in-person classes until 10 a.m. on Friday, January 23. Campus will open for normal business hours at 8 a.m.

Instructors for in-person classes may move classes to an online format with prior notification. Online/virtual classes will proceed as scheduled.

At this time, UNI Athletics and Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts events will proceed as scheduled unless those entities announce any changes at a later time.

WRC Panther Camp is finishing up Week 6. Rodeo Round Up week was great and included a day trip to the Hansen’s Dairy Farm. The kids had a blast milking cows, churning butter, eating ice cream and…. the biggest hit of the day…. petting the Kangaroos.

"This is a UNI Alert. Due to a forecasted winter weather event the University of Northern Iowa campus will move entirely to online operations on Wednesday, March 5. During this period of weather-related online operations, in-person classes will NOT meet."

The WRC will be closed and all programming is cancelled including: Intramurals, personal training, group fitness, sport club practices, outdoor recreation and aquatics.

We are planning for normal operations on Thursday, March 6 at 6:00am.
