Still waiting on our tattoo license inspection but at least it is in the works :) I be working under my cosmo/esthetician license until our tattoo one has been issued for new space. I am dying to get back to work and the building is currently a licensed salon!

Skin Classic treatments: Treat capillaries, cherry angiomas, age spots, skin tags, etc. Single area treatment $50.00 ($75.00)
Full face and neck treatment $200.00 ($350.00)

Microderms: Treatment to remove fine lines and wrinkles when performed in multiple treatments. Single treatments are ideal to remove dead skin cells and bring in a new glow. $55.00 ($85.00)

Eyelid Tightening: Helps to reduce eyelid puffiness by causing localized trauma to the skin. Results are roughly an 1/8 inch reduction in lid surface. There is a possibility of down time with this service due to puffiness. $150 ($250)

Hair Thinning Treatments: Treatment consist of take home product for 3 months at $55.00 (no product markup) and scalp treatment in shop. These services are absolutely showing results and have been around for years. Clients come in once a week for 1st month, 2 times second months, and 1 a month to learn at home treatment. Clients need to follow simple treatment plan at home and results are obvious at 3 months. While it is not possible to regrow hair from dead follicles, clients will notice a thicker stronger hair shaft which increases diameter, volume, and strength. $100 ($150)

Spiritual Coaching: This has been a long road for me but I have had so many clients asking for help and not finding what they are looking for in traditional counseling. This is a spiritual experience including client history, breath work, and release. This service is based on each individual so sessions vary. I can give resources and referrals for this as well. It's about creating safe space for healing. Message for details or give me a call to discuss. Performed by Zoom or in home. $55.00 start to finish.

Beyond Beauty and Merlot Permanent Makeup

This is a sneak peek at the new location. Due to handicap accessibility we will be needing to move our location. We have secured a spot within Glaze Salon and Suites - located at 209 Walnut St CF - 1 block south of our current location. We are busy getting things updated with fresh paint and furniture! I will absolutley miss the building I have called home for 10 years however I am very excited about this new move and partnering with some pretty amazing people. We are still plugging away here at the shop despite some more remodeling. Between myself and now the new owners, this building has gotten some serious love over the years! They have done an amazing job with the parking lot, new landscaping is in place, and things still continue to be added. Lucy and I are waiting to see the final results and whether the changes will meet or facility licensing requirements. In the event that we are unable to be handicap accessible, we may need to relocate, and we will keep everyone posted! We would love to stay in this location, and we have no intentions of ending services since we love it so much as well as all of you who support us!

On a side note......with lots of courage......I wanted to share something new about myself......new to you anyway :) I have been a practicing Medium for years, surprise! I have always been scared of judgment because of misrepresentation and exploitation of the spiritual. As a Christian, I needed to understand scriptures and the true teachings of the Bible to be comfortable proceeding as well, and after a lot of research, I am at a place that the two align. This is a love of mine; this is who I am and why I am able to connect with so many clients on a personal level. So, there it, the one and only thing I don't openly share! Building Update!

No, we are not moving, just changing ownership!

Wanted to touch base with everyone on the changes here at Beyond Beauty 🙂 I made the decision to sell a couple of years ago and just recently pulled the plug and listed her for sale. I honestly thought that once I listed I would have her for several months before finding a buyer, however she sold within hours of being advertised. The new owners, not only seem very nice and considerate, they have also welcomed everyone in the building to stay if they would like to continue here. I have chosen to stay and will continue to work from my room upstairs alongside the beautiful Lucy who owns Merlot Permanent Makeup.

I have not changed the phone number here for the shop and will continue to use the 319-266-6730 number as it is now being ported to my personal phone. This means better communication and call backs! Give me a little grace as I learn how to manage the two numbers LOL FYI when I return calls the number no longer comes up as Beyond Beauty on caller ID.

October schedule for me will be Mondays 10-5 Wed 10-5 Thursday 10-5

November schedule is up in the air as of right now with my partner returning home from overseas so I will be posting about that schedule at a later date. If you are looking to have your touchups done and healed for the holidays, October will be the best to schedule with me.

Lucy, owner of Merlot Permanent Makeup, is an absolute peach and will also be utilizing the tattoo room with me. She was trained several years ago at the Iowa iBrow iLash Academy and has spent the last 3 years working side by side with me. She provides beautiful services and has access to all the shop records and formulas needed to continue services for anyone that has come through the doors here. There is no competition between Lucy and I as we both just want our clients happy, feel free to reach out to her to schedule with no worries of either of us being offended. When I "retire" I will be fully trusting Lucy to take over for me as I transition out, she offers beautiful results and has proven herself over and over again.

Special! This one is for the guys and the gals!

Thinning Hair?

I am now back at the shop and to get back into the swing of things I promised a special! I am going to be offering our hair loss/thinning treatments at a reduced rate. Treatments consist of three appointments over the course of three months. Treatments are approximately 45 minutes in length and consist of microneedling the scalp to loosen dead skin cells and open follicles, followed by a scalp treatment application of hair growth serum. Hair growth serums are 85% more effective when being applied following a microneedling session. After three treatment sessions and 3 months, clients will notice thicker diameter in each individual hair, faster hair growth, and thicken of areas that are of concern. These treatments help with restoring circulation to the scalp and promote healthy follicles to produce stronger hair and weak follicles to regenerate. This treatment is not proven to renew dead follicles. I have been doing these services successfully for 7 years and clients have had noticeable results. These initial treatments are booster treatments to get you on a path to performing them at home yourself and do not need to be continued with us unless you prefer too. There is no down time with this service aside from not washing hair for several hours.

Sessions are a package of 3 performed 1 month apart and include your home care serums.

Pricing: Original price is $900 and will be reducing the service to $500 (includes 3 sessions and serums for home care)
