This week, our Administrator received a call from a community member who shared a wonderful story about one of our own. While on her way to work, Murphy, Certified Nurse Aide, noticed an elderly person struggling on a snow-covered sidewalk. Without hesitation, Murphy stopped, helped the individual safely into their home, and then continued on to work.

Today, we had the privilege of recognizing Murphy for exemplifying kindness, compassion, and care not only within our walls, but throughout our community as well. Thank you, Murphy, for truly leading with care. 💙

Welcome to Pinnacle Specialty Care

Pinnacle Specialty Care in Cedar Falls opened its doors in the fall of 2016. The 90-bed skilled nursing facility features one wing dedicated to short term rehab-to-home patients in private rooms. Among its many amenities, the facility features a therapy pool to aid in recovery from surgery and other therapeutic practices.

Administrator Kristi Kremer says the caring environment the staff provide every day is the reason for their success. “Everyone on our staff works diligently to ensure the best care and environment for our residents and their families. It’s our caring staff who make the difference.”

Pinnacle Specialty Care in Cedar Falls received a 5-star ranking throughout 2017 in “Quality Measures” for a skilled nursing facility from the federal government’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
