Over the past few months, some of our clients have expressed an interest in macronutrient analysis.
We did the research and we've got the solution for you!
Let's start here: What are the macronutrients? Macronutrients are a type of food required in large amounts in the human body. The three main macronutrients are protein, fat, and carbohydrates.
Counting calories isn't the most reliable health & wellness plan. The problem is that calculation does not take into account your activity level, body fat, or muscle-mass all of which have a major impact on your metabolic needs. It also doesn't help that people significantly overestimate their activity level.
Macronutrient analysis, on the other hand, is more accurate, it tracks three or four variables (protein, carbs, fat, fiber) rather than one (calories). And forces you to focus on overall health versus creating a calorie deficit.
