So You know I am working on being a certified doula. I have to provide support to 3 mommas for that process and this was number two.
I can say that the two I have done were very different and I can not wait to do more. While I want to do this more in my own business I have also signed on to help out Jackie over at Wild roots support mommas and I am so glad.

This was One of the most amazing and surreal moments of my life. Truly, I know this is the journey I need to be on,. Where I am supposed to be. From braiding hair, to bringing water, to providing pressure relief, reassurance, and even being in the tub with Momma while her water broke. Every moment was amazing and this Momma is a beast of a woman. So proud.

If you are expecting, I would be so blessed and honored to support you. I can be a doula and photograph this life changing beautiful time.

Ten tiny, wrinkly toes.

The way their little bodies curl, their soft peeling skin, the wrinkles that disappear in just a few days — these newborn details are so fleeting.

That’s why I feel so deeply honored to be by a momma’s side through labor and delivery, witnessing the moment her world changes… and then capturing those first tender breaths, those tiny fingers, those brand-new toes.

Every birth story is sacred. Every photograph, a piece of time we get to hold onto forever. 🤍

I have to share just a few from this beautiful session. Sweet baby boy had a roring entrance to the world and spent some time in the NICU so was a bit older for his session. We decided the weather was lovely so went out to thier property instead of an indoor session. Big sister and her blue eyes is so in love with this little man and the life of the party. Enjoy, I am so blessed to know and work with this sweet family.

Expecting this fall and winter? I am still booking fall and winter newborns!
