Looking for simple ways to support your child’s sensory needs? 💡

Oral input can play a big role in helping kids stay regulated, focused, and calm throughout the day. In this video, we’re highlighting how tools like chewy tubes can provide safe, effective input for children who seek to chew or need extra sensory support.

Chewy tubes aren’t just for chewing; they can help improve attention, reduce anxiety or support overall self-regulation. Every child is different, and finding the right strategies can make all the difference!

🧦💙 Rock Your Socks for World Down Syndrome Day! 💛🧦

Today we’re celebrating World Down Syndrome Day by rocking our brightest, boldest and most mismatched socks! Socks were chosen because their shape resembles chromosomes, and people with Down syndrome have an extra copy of chromosome 21.

While each person with Down Syndrome have three copies of chromosome 21 affecting learning, development and physical growth, every individual has their own unique strengths, personality and abilities.

We celebrate every milestone and are inspired by the joy, determination and resilience these amazing kids bring each day. 💙

Join us by wearing your craziest socks today and helping spread awareness, inclusion and acceptance!

Strong bodies need strong sensory foundations 💪🧠

Proprioceptive input gives muscles and joints the deep pressure they crave to help kids feel more organized, focused, and regulated. These “heavy work” activities can improve body awareness, coordination, and attention all while feeling like play!

Want to learn simple ways to add proprioceptive activities at home? Our therapy team is here to help! 💙

👂 Let’s talk about auditory input!

For some kids, the world is LOUD. Classrooms, grocery stores, birthday parties, even everyday background noise can overwhelm their nervous system.

🎧 That’s where noise-reducing headphones come in.
The headphones don’t block all sound, they simply turn the volume down so kids can:
✨ Feel calmer and more regulated
✨ Improve focus and attention
✨ Participate more successfully in play, learning, and therapy
✨ Build tolerance to sound at a safe, supportive pace

We use noise-reducing headphones as a tool helping our children feel safe while their brains learn how to process sound more comfortably.

Every child’s sensory system is unique, and supporting it makes a big difference!
