The sun didnât suddenly become dangerous.
Your beliefs about it did.
Humans lived in the sun for millions of years without sunscreen.
Then sunscreen is introduced in the 1930sâŚ
âŚand by the 1950s, melanoma rates start climbing.
At the same time?
Melanoma is strongly associated with low vitamin D levels and a diet with seed oils.
But sureâ
letâs keep blaming the sun.
Something doesnât add up.
Letâs be real:
The problem isnât the sun.
The problem is burning, toxicity, a diet with seed oils, and lots of carbs.
Avoiding the sun completely?
Thatâs not healthâthatâs disconnection from how your body actually works.
Because non-burning sun exposure:
âď¸ Drives vitamin D production (your immune system depends on it)
âď¸ Regulates hormones
âď¸ Sets your circadian rhythm (sleep, energy, recovery)
âď¸ Impacts your gut and inflammation levels
âď¸ Is linked to lower risk of chronic disease
And so much more!
Yet people are told to hide from it dailyâŚ
while living indoors, under artificial light, completely disconnected from nature.
And somehow thatâs considered âhealthyâ?
No.
Donât get burned. Avoid a diet with seed oils and high carbs, Thatâs how you prevent damage.
But fearing the sun entirely?
That is definitely the bigger mistake, and very foolish.
