We are pleased to announce that Leah Chen has officially received her LPC-A (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate) and is accepting new clients under the supervision of Jennifer Madere, LPC-S.

Leah hold a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University, in addition to her background in the field of education, ministry, and consecrated life. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, post-traumatic responses, interpersonal or relational difficulties, and grief and loss, utilizing the adaptive information processing (AIP) model and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to inform conceptualized treatment plans for all of her clients.

Our very own, Jennifer Madere, LPC-S is blazing a trail in the field of trauma and dissociation. Her dedication to raising awareness and providing training on dissociative symptoms is a valuable resource for counselors and therapists working with trauma survivors. She shared her expertise at the Texas Counseling Association Professional Growth Conference in Dallas, TX, early in November.

Jennifer's focus on recognition and measurement of dissociative symptoms is particularly crucial, as dissociation can be difficult to identify without proper training. - Sarah Poynor, LPC Associate, started in December 2023 at the Intuitus satellite office in College Station, TX. She is also available for telehealth sessions for Texas residents.
- Leah Chen, MS Candidate, is a graduate student at Divine Mercy University, and seeing clients in person at our Cedar Park location and via telehealth.
