Hey! It’s Two Minutes with Tuggle Tuesday!!
This week I was listening to a podcast featuring James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits, and it really stopped me in my tracks — in a good way.
James was talking about the idea of consistency over completion. In other words, it’s far more important to shorten the scope and stay on schedule than it is to miss altogether because you couldn’t do the entire plan perfectly.
That hit home for me because it’s something I say all the time.
Consistency beats perfection. Every single time.
Whether we’re talking about fitness, nutrition, faith, or chiropractic care — the people who get the best results aren’t the ones who do everything perfectly for a short burst. They’re the ones who keep showing up, even when life gets busy, even when the schedule isn’t ideal.
In our office, I see this play out daily. Patients who stay consistent with their treatment plans — even if that means shorter visits, adjusted schedules, or temporary modifications — are the ones who get the outcomes they’re looking for. Healing, strength, mobility, and long-term wellness don’t come from doing it all once. They come from doing the right things over and over again.
So if you’ve been feeling like you’ve “fallen off,” let me encourage you: don’t quit. Don’t wait until everything is perfect. Shorten the scope. Stay on schedule. Keep moving forward.
Progress loves consistency.
We’ll see you next Tuesday.
