Happy Speech Month to our very own, Kristi! She recently graduated from University of Northern Iowa with an MA specializing in Speech-Language Pathology. As an SLP working at Harmony Cedar Rapids, I have the privilege of helping residents maintain or regain their ability to communicate, swallow safely, and connect meaningfully with others. Every small step from clearer speech to safer mealtimes, makes a big difference in quality of life.
