Revive Aesthetics & Wellbeing is excited to welcome Amanda (Kokonami) to the team!

Amanda’s medical career began in phlebotomy in 2002, and she went on to graduate from Mount Mercy College in 2007 with her BSN in Nursing. Over the years, she has worked at Mercy, St. Luke’s, and the UHC, specializing in newborn IVs and gaining extensive experience in mother–baby care and the operating room across gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, and eye surgery.

Today, she brings that strong clinical foundation into her role as a nurse injector—where safety, precision, and artistry all come together.

Outside of work, Amanda is a wife and mom to two busy boys, an animal lover, artist, and bookworm. She is also a passionate advocate for mental health and believes self-care is not a luxury, but an essential part of living well. To her, beauty isn’t about chasing perfection—it’s about honoring each person’s unique features and story.

Amanda’s philosophy is simple but powerful: every individual is their own greatest work of art, worthy of care, attention, and celebration.

She will begin seeing patients at our Cedar Rapids location on September 23rd—and we can’t wait for you to meet her!

Revive Aesthetics & Wellbeing is the sister spa of Revive Day Spa, Aesthetics, & Massage and Bodyworks in Cedar Falls. Revive in Cedar Rapids is currently under construction and set to open October 7th! The location is in the NewBo District, right behind Parlor City. Erica Nygaard, ARNP is the owner of the spa in Cedar Rapids. She has over four years of experience with a goal of helping others improve their health naturally along with the aesthetic services that are offered. There will be two Estheticians joiningRevive in the Cedar Rapids location. Combined, they have nearly 30 years of experience working with skin. We can call them the experts of skin!
