We had the best little "monsters" show up last night for our Monster Masquerade at Corridor Crossing! 🎃
Thank you to all who donated candy for our event, and to all who attended!🍬🍫 The trick-or-treaters, staff, and residents all had a "fang-tastic" time! 🧛

Our October Lunch Outing to the Amana Colonies did not disappoint!! We enjoyed great company, awesome conversation, and the BEST German Food at the Millstream Brau Haus!! It was a truly fantastic afternoon!!
PS: Happy, happy birthday Doug! We had fun celebrating you today! 🙌🎂🎉

We had a great time with Marci Wittles today as she educated us on the tales and legends of Halloween! We made “Jack-o-Lanterns”, went “trick-or-treating” and even sang some “Halloween Carols!” 👻🎃🧙‍♀️

Happy World Bread Day!! We celebrated by making homemade butter accompanied by homemade white bread, fresh from our kitchen!
Our awesome assistant executive director, Leah Fousek, also made homemade pumpkin bread and cinnamon butter for our residents to try!!
We had a great time reminiscing about bread recipes, shaking heavy whipping cream until butter formed, and eating all the homemade bread & butter!! Delicious! 🍞🧈❤️

Rain showers didn't ruin our fall foliage scenic bus ride today, in fact it made it all the cozier!! The bus was warm, the leaves were changing, and Palisades-Kepler State park was just as beautiful as always!!! 🌦️🍁🚐

Our recent trip to Bass Farms was the perfect autumn adventure!! We enjoyed a tractor/wagon ride through the country side, picking a pumpkin, and a dish of caramel apple ice cream!! It was a beautiful day to create fall memories!! As one of our residents stated: "I haven't been on a hayrack ride since I was a teenager, and definitely didn't think I'd be on one at 95!"🍁🌞🎃🌻

Happy "America Reads Day"! Corridor Crossing residents and staff traveled to the classroom of Executive Director, Josie Doudney's, daughter this morning!
Sarah Smith read "Jake and Gavin the Great" while Barb and William played the parts of the book's characters, "Jake" and "Gavin"! The kindergarten class loved it, and we all had a blast too!! 📚📖📙
