Over 140 cloth diapers and hats were sewn from donated t-shirts for newborn care kits to be sent to 2 hospitals in Liberia, West Africa. Local contacts Suah and her husband Ivan came and presented to us today about this wonderful mission program. Thankful for opportunities like this for our volunteer sewers to give back.

Members took a walk Saturday morning around our grounds to view our flowers and fruits of our labor. A newly formed Gardening Club is looking at future plans for splitting perennials and possibly adding more flower beds. The walk was also a chance to recruit volunteers to w**d and water followed by delicious cinnamon and pecan rolls.
