Big news🥳after an eternity and a half my back is mostly healed and I’m baaaack! I’m officially doing massages again and it feels so good! I have had to change my schedule around a bit to be a little nicer to my body, so there are limited appointments available and it will probably stay that way for a while (consider this your heads up to book out if you can!) I’ve missed my clients so much and I am so excited to see everyone again! I appreciate everyone who has waited and been more than understanding, I know its been a long recovery and I appreciate you all so much!!! Kind of a sad update today… I’ll be unable to massage for about 6 more weeks due to my back injury. After that I will be cutting my workload down significantly to prevent further damage and therefore am not in a place to take on any new clients. If you know me at all, you know massage therapy is my whole world and this is killing me to post this. My heart is hurting. Back injury was not on my 2025 bingo card but sometimes you’re just dealt what you’re dealt. To my regulars I’ve had for years, we’ve been through this before when I was on maternity leave. This time is a little different but I appreciate you all for waiting and checking in on me. I miss my people and can’t wait to get back🥺 In the mean time, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or for a referral while I’m out. I’ve got a great network of LMT’s, PT’s and chiropractors that I work pretty closely with and would be happy to know my clients are still getting great treatment ❤️

I’m currently out for a couple weeks with a bulging disc. I know it’s already hard to schedule with me and this has definitely made things harder. Just know I’m doing my best to heal and get back soon! If you’re one of the clients this has affected and would like a referral for while I’m out, reach out to me and I can give you names of other lmts I think would be a good fit! This sucks, but fingers crossed I’ll see you all soon! ❤️🤞

Hey everyone! It’s been a while so I thought I’d give an update. Over the last few weeks I’ve been very busy! I had the opportunity to represent Iowa as a delegate at the National AMTA convention in Tampa Fl. While there I took a few days of leadership classes and con ed classes on perinatal massage, trauma informed massage therapy, and how to help your grieving clients. I learned from some of the most notable instructors in the industry and got to make lasting connections with other massage therapists from around the country who share the same passion as me. It was an incredible experience that I am so honored to have been a part of. Over this last weekend I attended the Iowa AMTA fall convention and learned techniques on cranial pressure release and low back/pelvis techniques. I’m coming back to work with even more enthusiasm for massage therapy than before and am excited to share what I’ve learned with my clients. Thank you to everyone who has helped get me to this point I wouldn’t be here without my clients❤️

Now that it’s official, I was sworn in today and I can post that I am now a delegate for the Iowa AMTA! I get to go to Tampa in September to represent our state at the National massage convention and get to network with some amazing mentors! I’m super excited and so thankful for everyone who encouraged me to apply and helped me with the process. The next 2 years are going to be wild and im so so excited! ❤️❤️❤️
