My physical therapist (more on this later, but she has saved my career with her treatment) is offering her pain class again!

Student clinic is a great opportunity to support new massage therapists and save some money at the same time. If you’re aching to get in an extra massage this month or treat a friend, give Carlson a call!

There are only a couple weeks left in the summer session of the Student Clinic.

We have appointments available Monday thru Thursday at:
8:45am, 10:15am, 12:45pm, 2:00pm
6:15pm and 7:45pm

Saturdays during the day too!!!!

$40 for an hour massage ($80 for 2 hour!) Cash or checks paid to the students.
Tips to the students are appreciated but not
required.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility, and I want to remind everyone that my spa will always be a place of safety and love for all trans people. I hope to see a day soon when Iowa will be known for loving and welcoming all people. Until that day comes, we stand in solidarity and we fight the good fight. I was able to make a donation today to the thanks to my incredible clients this month. Remember that we are never too old to learn or too tired to love.

For the month of March, I will be donating $18 from every appointment to the Iowa Trans Mutual Aid Fund.

Iowa legislators recently passed a bill stripping civil rights protections for Iowans based on gender identity. I unequivocally stand with all Iowans against discrimination and hate. Everyone deserves to live the life espoused by our state motto: Our liberties we prize, and our rights we will maintain.

I chose this organization because they provide direct grants to transgender Iowans seeking gender affirming care.
I chose $18 because the necessary and life saving civil rights protections for gender identity were originally established in Iowa 18 years ago in 2007.

I am blessed to know and love many transgender people in our community, and I hope to see a future in which everyone is given the respect and rights we all desire.
