Some of you know I recently had surgery on my knee (ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair)… I am trying to keep a positive attitude and am looking forward to when I can get back to work!! I can’t believe it’s been almost six months since I opened my massage therapy business at My Salon Suite, and a little over a year since we moved to Marion, Iowa from Nevada, Iowa, where we raised our kids and lived for 20 years!!

So much has happened since we moved: we lost my mom to Covid July 15, 2020.. a few short weeks after that we moved our son and his girlfriend to San Diego, California.. about a month after that we adopted our adorable puppy we named Bosco (the same day as the Derecho!).. we have made some new friends and have had fun exploring the area.

To say there have been a lot of changes in my life in the last year would be an understatement. But I am so blessed to have the support of my family and friends, past clients, and NEW CLIENTS!!!

Having my own business has been my dream since I went to school for Massage Therapy 13 years ago. To say it has been easy and not scary at all would be a lie. 😬Sometimes you just have to go for it and see what happens!! If you haven’t come to see me yet, what are you waiting for!? New clients receive 10% off their first visit!
