Morning everyone! For those who don't know me, I am Amy, the owner and Nurse Practitioner at Nourish Med Spa. I wanted to share my story with others. Weight was never an issue when I was younger, then life happened. Graduate school, kids, work stress, and so forth. I packed on the pounds both physically and emotionally, I didn't feel like myself. In 2021, almost two years after our last child, I was determined to make a change. I started using a GLP1, changed my diet and lifestyle and over the last several years underwent a transformation both inside and out. I finally feel like myself again. Its hard to look back at where I was but am so proud of where I am today. I want to say that GLP1's (semaglutide, tirzepatide) are great tools however they are not the only thing that will give you long lasting results. I am thankful for GLP1s to help me learn portion control and better eating habits. At Nourish I love helping people on their transformation journey.
