Happy National Nurses Week to all of the incredible nurses making a difference every day. 💙

This week, we’re shining a spotlight on two of the amazing women who help lead and support our care team here at Boyson Heights, Amanda and Ray.

Amanda, our Director of Nursing, shared that after losing her mother to younger-onset Alzheimer’s, she dedicated her career to supporting individuals living with dementia and helping families navigate the journey alongside them.

“One especially meaningful moment for me is when a tenant transitions into memory support and begins to truly relax and enjoy their day, free from the stress and confusion of what comes next.”

Ray, our Assistant Director of Nursing, shared:
“I love being a nurse in assisted living/memory care because I get to build personal and meaningful relationships with the tenants. Getting to hear tenant stories, creating a comforting and caring environment, as well as connecting, is an amazing part of this role.”
