Adaptive wrinkles and wrinkles that are healthy versus a possible sign of a symptom like dehydration and atrophy (which could be linked to a greater life-saving issue like Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis and heart disease) are easier to notice once you start looking. So, I’ve been studying skin for 30 plus years and tested every kind of lotion known to man! Even the lotion in the southern tip of India where I bought pure aloe and pure rosewater and jasmine flowers only to find out a little splash of cold water is all you need for no wrinkles! Ha. Though this is different… plump skin cells are found in the longest living species on earth such as Redwoods🌲, whales 🐋 , cacti 🌵, tortoise 🐢 and bats 🦇 (200% older than those their size living up to 40 years in the wild!). They all have good distribution. What’s really amazing is that they also have a lot of collagen in their systems as well as conditioned, indirect hydration! So not a lot of “plain water”, contrary to popular trends. (Eggs used to be thought of as unhealthy, but it turns out they’re in most centenarian diets in Blue Zones!)
My point is that on the left the bigger space between wrinkles suggests health and plumper skin which is healthy and shows a fully-grown adaptation to the repetitive movement of that area. If it were sunken in, darker in color and thinner it may suggest an issue greater such as nutrition deficiency and improper sleep patterns which can lead to serious problems in the brain.
On the right of my hand you can clearly see flatter skin cells that look slightly crepe-ish which signifies a need for indirect external hydration. As soon as I put lotion on more liberally for about a week or two and exert after food and beverage intake they’ll plump back up! And lastly wrinkles that are tiny and deep creating a block can be damaging because they can stop distribution of nutrients. This is a topical issue and can easily be treated with regular light exfoliation rounds and a little gentle soap as well as fortified lotion. ❤️
