Diet culture isn’t just about diets—it’s a system of beliefs that makes you distrust your body.

At Health Hope Harmony, we unlearn those beliefs and help you reclaim food as nourishment, not punishment.

We’re hiring!🎊
We’ll be upfront: we’re not polished—and we’re not trying to be.

What we are is thoughtful, values-driven, and deeply invested in supporting both our clients and our clinicians.
Health Hope Harmony is looking for an adolescent therapist with evening availability (and possibly weekends). If you value curiosity over perfection, collaboration over isolation, and a workplace that understands therapists are humans—you might feel right at home here.

No eating disorder or body image experience? That’s okay. We’re a teaching practice and we’ll support your growth.

Negative body thoughts can be loud—but they don’t have to be your truth.
They’re often learned responses shaped by diet culture, comparison, and past experiences—not accurate reflections of your worth or health.

Gentle reframes help interrupt shame and create a pause between the thought and how much power it gets. Over time, that pause can open the door to compassion, neutrality, and a more grounded relationship with your body. You don’t have to love your body to treat it with respect—and that still counts as healing.

You can’t force someone into recovery—but you can make recovery feel safer.
Your presence matters more than you may realize.
When someone is navigating an eating disorder, even the smallest acts of understanding, patience, and emotional steadiness can help soften the fear that recovery brings.

You don’t have to have perfect words.
You don’t have to fix anything.
Simply being a grounding, nonjudgmental place can create moments of safety that make healing feel possible.

Connection is healing.
Gentle, consistent support truly makes an impact—sometimes in ways the person can’t express yet, but deeply feels.

Absolutely. Caring about your health doesn’t require restriction, shame, or chasing a certain body size. Unlearning diet culture means shifting away from control and punishment—and toward nourishment, curiosity, and respect for your body’s needs.

Health is not one-size-fits-all. It’s shaped by biology, access, mental health, rest, movement, connection, and compassion. You’re allowed to pursue well-being in ways that support your whole self—not just what diet culture says “counts.”

Your body isn’t a problem to fix, minimize, or constantly monitor.
You’re not meant to spend your life battling yourself or chasing an impossible ideal.

You are allowed to simply exist in your body—without shrinking, restricting, or apologizing for the space you take up.
Peace with your body doesn’t come from control. It comes from compassion, curiosity, and the freedom to show up as you are.

You deserve that freedom.

🌿 Your inner voice matters.

So often, we speak to ourselves in ways we’d never speak to someone we love. Healing starts with noticing those harsh thoughts — and gently offering ourselves something kinder.

You don’t have to believe the reframe right away. Just try it on. Speak to yourself with the compassion you’re learning to extend to others. 💛

When you’re living with depression, small steps are not small.
Getting out of bed. Sending the text. Eating something. Taking a shower.
These moments often require immense effort—and choosing to show up at all is an act of courage.

Progress with depression rarely looks loud or obvious. It looks quiet, steady, and deeply human. Each small win is proof of resilience, even on days it doesn’t feel like it.

If today’s victory is simply making it through the day, that still counts. Be gentle with yourself—you’re doing more than you think.🩵

An anxious brain is always on high alert, constantly scanning for danger and trying to prepare you for the worst. This means it often sends you thoughts that feel overwhelming or even impossible to ignore. But not every anxious thought is true—or worth believing.

Therapy can help you recognize these patterns and create healthy distance between fear and reality. With practice, you can learn to respond to anxiety with curiosity and calm instead of panic. Healing is possible, and you have the strength to get there.
