As this new year has brought some positive changes here at Kenwood Animal Clinic, we regretfully are losing one of the best techs we have ever had here at the clinic. After 6 years, Hope is leaving to further pursue her education as a Surgical Technologist. We will miss her greatly, but know that we have a new girl Chelsea that has joined us. Everyone here looks forward to including all of you into our Kenwood family.

It seems like this time a year we've been seeing a lot of the pets coming in for some allergies issues. If you notice your pet having some extra pink skin, itching or scratching on themselves, you may have to help them out by bringing them in for an allergy injection. Also taking home some allergy pills to keep on hand is an inexpensive way of managing your pet's uncomfortableness during these peak times. If any questions, don't hesitate to give us a call.

We have an opening for a Veterinary technician/assistant in our clinic. Our go-to girl Hope is going back to school and we will need someone more full time since she will be with us part time. Since it's hot outside remember your furry friends. They may have some shelter, but it still may be too hot. So get them inside with food and water just like we all are.

Its been a few weeks, but I'd like to formally introduce our intern Holly. She'll be here for the summer. Bring your pets on in to meet her and they'll love having her around just as much as we do. Also remember that flea and tick season is upon us and to get your furry friends covered before its too late.

Slow day at the clinic since doctor isn't in today. Getting some much needed paperwork done for the clinic. If everybody doesn't know, our Kenwood Pet Grooming shop is now officially opened right next door to us. Please give Jacalyn a call at 826-1807 for any questions for grooming your pet. The girls and staff over there sure do make your pets feel like kings and queens for the day when they're pampered.
