We are so proud to announce that Jill is now a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy!

(She has a masters in PT from Washington University in St. Louis and is certified in dry needling.)

Jill undertook the year long commitment to study and prepare for this national exam by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists - no small feat while working and momming 2 busy boys!

The LE&RN/Lymph Notes U.S. Lymphedema Therapist Scholarship was established to meet the need for additional certified lymphedema therapists. Despite increasing awareness, there is only one therapist for every 1,000 people living with lymphedema in the U.S. Scholarships are awarded annually in memory of writer and lymphedema advocate Ann Ehrlich who initiated the awards in 2013.

Scholarship Details
Up to $1,000 towards a Full Lymphedema Certification Course offered by a certification program at a qualified training school pre-approved by LE&RN.
Funds will be applied directly to the course tuition.
The Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) will contribute a free LANA exam to scholarship winners who meet the LANA eligibility criteria. This is a $430 value.
Scholarships may NOT be applied to courses that have been completed or are in progress prior to notification.
Special consideration will be given to professionals working with underserved populations in the U.S.
We anticipate being able to award at least ten scholarships this year.

Can you lend a helping hand? If you have any if these items that will help out the central furniture rescue, please give! If you want to drop them at our clinic between now and Friday, February 28, we'll deliver them for you!

We are running low on a few household items that just may be sitting in your cupboards, closets or basements! Clear that clutter and help those transitioning out of homelessness by dropping them off to us Monday - Friday 10am-4pm.

Sandy has some openings Thursday and Friday, February 6 & 7, 2025. Would you like to take a deeper look at your body composition and health markers that go beyond standard labs? Initial body composition scanning sessions include the scan, which will be given to you digitally and/or in print, and the therapist will review the findings in detail (30 minute session.) This is normally a $150.00 session, but if you are able to pop in during openings the next 2 days, you may have a scan and assessment for $100. Subsequent sessions are $50.

This is a great way to set a baseline for your health, and to track your progress as you move to healing and fitness! Follow up scans are placed on a graph to show change over time. (Super interesting stuff!)

We are so happy to have been able to allow our recent system upgrade to help support many others! We were able to supply our older 3 towers and 7 laptops for Matthew Soukup -a "tech angel"- to update, and combine with monitors, etc. from others, and then gift to those who could really use them. - - ! So much better than taking them for recycling!!! Thanks to Matthew and the others!
