Our Story

Since 1983, Bridgehaven has served the Cedar Rapids community working to empower choices for life and provide support in all circumstance surrounding pregnancy.

Bridgehaven’s Prevention team works with youth in our community to help them truly think about the risky choices that lie before them today. The Prevention team challenges and encourage them to ask honest questions and they receive honest answers about the tough circumstances they are challenged with on a daily basis. They are given an opportunity to start fresh and new with the knowledge they’ve been handed.

For those facing a pregnancy decision, Bridgehaven offers FREE pregnancy tests and confirmation ultrasounds. There is no red tape, simply come and you will receive help. Client Advocates are trained to offer compassionate support and you will have the opportunity to talk with someone that will listen to what’s on your heart and love you where you are. If a person chooses or has chosen abortion in the past, Bridgehaven provides the opportunity to heal through their one-on-one and group classes as well as Take Courage Abortion Recovery Retreats.
