Located in Northeast Cedar Rapids, the Rockwell Collins Recreation Center is a 60,000 square foot corporate fitness facility conveniently located on the Rockwell Collins Campus. It is open to members seven days a week with extensive weekday hours to accommodate all work shifts and schedules. The Recreation Center opened in 1986, and in 1996, the Iowa Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports recognized the Rockwell Employees Recreation Center as the best corporate program of the year. If you enjoy helping others and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this might be the perfect fit for you.

We're currently hiring for the following shifts:
Fridays from 11 am - 5 pm, and/or
every other Saturday from 1 - 8:15 pm.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

βœ…Ability to multi-task and stay organized
βœ…Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
βœ…Previous customer service experience is a plus

Your workout starts from the ground up - literally!

The right footwear can make a huge difference in your comfort, safety, and performance. πŸ’ͺ

βœ… For strength training: Choose flat, supportive shoes that help you stay stable while lifting.
βœ… For cardio workouts: Running or cross-training shoes with cushioning and flexibility protect your joints during impact.
βœ… For group fitness or cycling: Bring shoes designed for movement or with clips if your bike uses them - they improve performance and control.
βœ… For the locker room/showers: Always wear sandals to prevent slips and protect your feet.

Think about it this way - you wear bowling shoes when you bowl and spikes to run a race. The right shoes for the right activity make all the difference! πŸ‘

🚫 Avoid open-toed shoes, sandals, slip-ons (Hey Dudes and Crocs), slippers or boots on the gym floor - they’re unsafe and not made for active movement.

The right shoes = better balance, fewer injuries, and a more effective workout.

Simple, flavorful, and packed with omega-3s your body loves!

Recipe:
🐟 2 salmon fillets
πŸ₯„ 1 Tbsp olive oil
πŸ‹ 2 tsp lemon juice
πŸ§„ 1 garlic clove, minced
🌿 Pinch of pepper

Brush salmon with the mixture and bake at 375Β°F for 15–18 minutes β€” dinner made easy!
