CPR matters, AED use matters, HeartSafe programs matter, AED Emergency Action Plans matter, and up-to-date technology matters in the school and public areas surrounding it in the community. Parents and institutions need to start to consider heart screenings as another measure to prevent SCA deaths, and focus on proper AED programs and response programs for public and workplace use situations.
