Can you tell that today was National Wear Red Day? Our residents sure showed out! We enjoyed a chocolate themed Happy Hour and listened to music by Wild Bill & Company.

So many of our residents have a servant's heart. We made homemade valentines for veterans. Thanks to our good friend Pam for bringing the supplies and for delivering them to the veterans at the Freedom Foundation.

The theme for February’s Wellness Wednesday was all about heart health. We enjoyed a little education with our heath partner, EmpowerMe Wellness, and smoothie samples made by our superb culinary team.

Martin Luther King Jr emphasized that acts of service require only a "heart full of grace" and a "soul generated by love". Today, we delivered the items that where collected during our January Donation Drive for the Freedom Foundation of Cedar Rapids.
