Our staff got creative for our Soup Cook-Off, whipping up:
♨️ Chicken Noodle
♨️ Chicken Enchilada
♨️ 5-Bean 🫘 Chili
♨️ White Chicken Chili

Residents and staff sampled and voted 🗳️… and the winner is our Sales Director, Sara, for her delicious White Chicken Chili! 🏆 Congrats, Sara—your soup was a hit! 😋

❤️ Paper Heart Garland Craft! ❤️

Our residents created the cutest paper heart garland using the simplest supplies — Valentine colors, scissors ✂️, and a few staples were all it took to bring these hearts to life! Crafting sparked creativity, conversation, and plenty of smiles along the way.

We’re also loving a new favorite activity around here — playing cards! ♦️ A card group has officially formed, and let’s just say our residents are truly the Queens of Hearts. We’re so excited to see this new tradition grow! 💕

🎂 Happy January Birthdays! 🎂

We took a trip to our neighborhood Hy-Vee to pick up a delicious cake and celebrate our January birthdays in the sweetest way! 🎊 With four resident birthdays this month, there was plenty to celebrate—and even more smiles to go around 🥳

Between enjoying cake and playing trivia, our residents crushed it with an impressive 17/19 overall score! What a fun and festive way to celebrate another wonderful month together. 🎉

🍦 Outing to Earl’s Chill & Grill! 🍦

When residents asked for chocolate ice cream, we delivered! 🍫 We took a sweet little adventure to a brand-new spot, and Earl’s was a 10/10. From creamy ice cream to crispy fried pickle spears 🥒🤤, everything hit the spot. If you’re looking for a new place to try in Cedar Rapids, Earl’s comes highly recommended!
