Massage thoughts
I've had many new clients make reference that they've never pampered themselves with massage before. My reply has been this:
Do not think of it as pampering. Think of therapeutic massage as the best health insurance policy you can give yourself.
When you get a therapeutic massage you’re relaxing your body from stress. They say stress is the number one killer. Massage helps lower your cortisol levels, lowers your blood pressure, stimulates your lymphatic system, increases circulation, increases mobility, and adding in essential oils to your session can help with boosting your immune system even more, combating many illnesses. It's not that you're pampering yourself, it's that you're taking care of yourself. By getting yourself a therapeutic massage on a regular basis you're doing maintenance on your body.
Doing regular maintenance on your body is like doing regular maintenance on your car or vehicle. Look at it as which is cheaper, fixing the car after it's broken down, or keeping it well maintained. The human body is the same way.
