My goal is to help clients uncover their most authentic self by exploring how change, growth, and insight can lead to better relationships both within and with others. I utilize systems theory and an integrative approach to help others achieve their goals and overall emotional well-being. I believe people have the inherent ability to embrace strengths from within to effect change. I am passionate about providing a safe and supportive environment for clients and empowering them on their journey towards healing. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with adolescent and adult individuals, couples, and family systems. I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist with experience in assessment and treatment of eating disorders and body image issues in various levels of care. I am an affirmative and non-judgmental therapist and I welcome diversity including all body sizes, abilities, races, sexualities, genders, religions and political values. Reaching out for support takes strength and resilience and it would be a privilege to join with you on this therapeutic journey.

GREAT READ ALERT! does an excellent job helping others process the grief that comes with a changing body whether due to illness, injury, aging, and more. This is a great reminder that our bodies are “not against us” but rather “on our side.” This is Body Grief has helped my clients feel heard, validated, and understood in situations where they often feel alone or rejected.

I’ll share one of my favorite quotes as people move through grief towards body trust,: “Body trust arises when we respond to the subtle and not so subtle cues our body sends us. In this mind-body-spirit conversation with our body, we are able to relax into whatever we are experiencing in the moment.”
