Today we want to give a huge shout out to Georgia Vinyl & Thread for being so easy to work with and working so hard to get our signs done in time for our opening!!! We are so thankful!

Also a big shout out to my dad Tony McAlister for custom building our frames and stands for the signs and everything else you do to support us!

And the biggest shout out to BJ Hatch for ALL the things to make this move happen and support us at our new location!

And to our personal families and who have been there to help move, help clean, watch kiddos, and everything else to support us along the way! We could not do what we do without you! ❤️

Today, we are grateful!!!

Drum roll please….

Communication at Heart (speech therapy) is so excited to be teaming up with Praise Pediatric Therapy (occupational therapy) to offer services at our new location in Cedartown.

Whitley Hatch, owner of Praise Pediatric Therapy, has been a pediatric occupational therapist for almost 15 years and was raised in Cedartown.

We are both now accepting new referrals.

Thank you so much to our friends, family, and patient families who are helping make our dreams come true! We both have a passion for our job, and God has truly blessed us with this opportunity to help more kiddos!

It was so fun to see their faces today as they definitely approved of the new location.

Last week we said goodbye to the place that gave us our start in Cedartown! Thank you so much to everyone who has continued to help this little therapy clinic grow and help more and more kids in our community! It was a bittersweet day, but we have some exciting news to share and are so ready for this journey in 2026! 🤩 Who is ready to see our new location???

With “smart” toys and electronics of all types in high demand this holiday season, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is suggesting holiday gift alternatives for kids that will help boost their language and learning skills—at any age.

So much fun with Little Chick Chat this morning at Chick-fil-A Cedartown! We read stories, targeted vocabulary, modeled language strategies, and played in the fall sensory bin! A big thanks to Whitley, our local occupational therapist, from Praise Pediatric Therapy for helping with our Thanksgiving handprint signs! 🤩
