When I became the sole survivor of six women, four of them mothers of young children, I felt a calling to share our experiences with likeminded individuals. The lack of resources available for patients was shocking.
I have spent the past 10 years developing tools and writing self-help books that my friends, their families, and we could have used. It's been a journey with many setbacks and a huge investment on so many levels, but I can't run away from my destiny and purpose.
I want to help close the gap of loneliness felt by patients and their families, because no one should walk this path alone.
